How do I have to pay for my order?

When placing the order you must pay half up front either by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express), certified check or personal check, if using a check your order will be placed when that check is received. When your furniture gets to the warehouse we will call you for final payment, this can be made at that time using a credit card over the phone or you can elect to pay with a certified check or money order at the time of delivery. Absolutely no credit cards will be accepted for final payment at the time of delivery.

How do I see the manufacturer's catalogs and what they have to offer?

Consumers are often frustrated in surfing the web through thousands of photos only to find out the item they fell in love with is no longer available. In our industry this is a real problem because furniture is style, and like style it is frequently changing. An online complete product catalog is almost impossible to keep because manufacturers are slow to notify dealers when products are discontinued. However, most manufacturers’ sites are current, which is why we choose to send our customers to many different online locations to find those exact pieces that fit your life, rather than attempt to keep an entire online catalog.

If you have previously spoken to a salesperson at Elite or have been referred to us from a previous customer, then you can call or email your salesperson directly. I found the furniture I want, now how do I order from you?

This process is very simple. Just give us a call at 843.449.3588 or send us an email at info@elitefurnituregallery.com. Be sure to know as much information that you can find about the product and we can help you with the rest. We will need you to give us your information including: the mailing address, if different the shipping address, and phone numbers where your can be contacted. When your paperwork is mailed it must be signed to verify the fabric, item number, and finish, so that we can get the order completed promptly and accurately.

What happens after I place an order?

After you place your order you will receive a copy of your invoice by mail in seven to ten business days. Please check this information for accuracy. If you have any questions please contact your salesperson immediately to get the discrepancy worked out to insure your satisfaction.

How do you handle order cancellations?

Cancellations of orders will be accepted only when Elite Interiors, Inc. has the ability to cancel the order with the manufacturer. If an order is cancelled, the deposit will be refunded less a $25.00 handling charge. Refusal to accept an order, Elite Interiors, Inc. is unable to cancel with the manufacturer will result in a fifty percent (50%) re-stocking fee. Requests for cancellations must be in writing and signed by the customer and must be sent by FAX or by mail.

How are my delivery charges figured?

Quotes for delivery charges are based on normal delivery conditions. Special items must be agreed upon at the time the order is placed. (Examples: limited hours of access to your neighborhood, building, or freight elevator, limited access to your home by large trucks, etc.) The customer will be responsible for all delivery charges including those quoted by Elite Interiors, Inc.


 

How long does it take to receive a delivery?

Many efforts are being made to reduce ordering time in the furniture industry, but the facts are, that better quality furniture averages about 8-12 weeks to deliver. Occasionally, orders can come in much quicker and sometimes much  longer, ask your salesperson at the time of your order and they can give you an estimated amount of shipping time, however, we are only an agent for the factory and we cannot be responsible for delays. Availability will vary from company to company since some manufactures carry stock, while others only manufacturer to order. Most of the shipping time is tied up in manufacturing and transit from the factory. The other small amount of time is taken at the delivery warehouse receiving, paperwork processing, and in scheduling a full truck load to your home town.

My furniture has been delivered and I have a problem, what now?
Consumer expectations have grown greatly in the past decade even though the hand-made nature of furniture has not. Unlike many other industries that make giant changes in quality control every year, furniture still is a "bench-made" product. Each piece of furniture must be handled and touched by people who sand, assemble, paint, stain and polish. The more expensive the furniture, the more time each person in the process takes doing their job. The cheaper the furniture, the quicker each item is passed to the next person. You just need to know what you are getting for your money and have a realistic idea of what to expect before the furniture arrives. We have very few customer service issues since we strive to ensure excellent customer service. Our salespeople try to inform consumers on what they are getting, and we work with some excellent delivery companies. However, when accidents do occur, you will have a professional Customer Service representative available to help resolve your claim. You should thoroughly inspect your furniture at the time of delivery, make any notes of damage on the Bill of Lading and contact your salesperson quickly to find a resolution to your complaint efficiently.
